Using the File Folder Preset Buttons

Incite Media Assistant lets you assign 9 quick-access file folders using the File Folder buttons at the top of the Catalog window. To assign a folder to a to one of these buttons, first open the media file folder you wish to use. Right-click on the # folder you wish to use for the preset. A message box appears asking if you want to assign the folder. Press Yes.

   

File Folder Presets can be saved per storyboard project using the Catalog Display Preferences window. This is useful if you wish to have a specific group of predefined folders for each storyboard you are working on. For more see Catalog Display Preferences.



Tips & Notes

·	Passing over File Folder buttons with your mouse, a small pop-up field will tell you the name and path directory of the file folder currently assigned to the button. If there is no folder designated, no pop-up field appears.

·	The Reload button will update the current file folder being viewed. This is useful, for example, after creating (converting) a new media file to the same folder. The file will not be shown in the Catalog List unless it has been refreshed.
