The Monitor Window

As already mentioned in ch.1, the Monitor window has three different uses or modes:

·	Preview your storyboard sequence.
·	Update the logging points of a storyclip.
·	Trim two clips that share a cut point (see Trimming In/Out Points with your Mouse in 5.7 Editing Tools).

In this section we will concentrate on the second of these three points: Update the logging points of a storyclip.

To begin, make sure both the preview and logger monitors are currently being displayed in the Monitor window. If not, select View/Show Logger Monitor from Incite Media Assistant's main toolbar. If you wish to update the log points of a storyclip, the Monitor window should look like this:
