Loading and Updating a Storyclip
1. | Select the storyclip with a double-click, loading it into the Logger monitor.
| |
2. | Scrub for your new In and Out points and set these new points using the corresponding buttons. You can cue your current In and Out points using either of the two Arrow buttons next to the respective timecode fields.
| |
3. | Set the editing mode you wish to use: TV or Film Mode.
| |
4. | Press Update and the Storyclip is updated on the timeline.
· | Use the Q (In) and W (Out) shortcut keys to log points quickly. To cue your In and Out points, use the shortcut keys I (for the In point) and O (for the Out point). These shortcut keys work for all Incite Media Assistant's logging monitors.
· | Important: If you wish to update the storyclip, you must leave it selected. Selecting another item in the storyboard (another storyclip or a gap between clips) the Update button is removed from the Monitor window. The storyclip still remains as the loaded clip, however, and can be used to create a new storyclip for the sequence using the Insert button if you wish. To restore the Update button, double-click on the storyclip once again.
· | Use the Logger monitor in the Monitor window to refine the edit points of storyclips that were created by dragging and dropping directly from the Catalog List.
