Deleting Storyclips and Selected Gaps

To delete a storyclip, you can either select the clip and press the Delete button, or right-click on the storyclip and select the Delete command from the pop-up menu. Remember the effect TV and Film Mode will have on your storyboard when deleting a storyclip. You can also use the F7 or Delete shortcut keys to remove a selected storyclip.

To delete a group of selected clips, first press the Ctrl key and select each storyclip you wish to delete or select a series of clips using the Shift key. Then press the F7 or Delete key.

Similarly, you can delete selected gaps on the timeline using any of the above methods. You can only delete a gap, however, in Film mode. Deleting gaps is useful when you wish to compact part of your timeline using Film mode's shift effect.
