Magnet
When the Magnet button is activated, Incite Media Assistant will automatically snap to cut points when performing an editing action. For example, when moving a storyclip next to another storyclip the In point of one clip will snap to the Out point of the other clip.
Split Clip
The Split Clip button will divide a storyclip into two independent storyclips. Place the Position bar over the storyclip, selecting the frame you wish to use for the cut. Then press the Split Clip button.
Undo/Redo Buttons
These two button allow you to undo or redo the last action performed. The number of undo/redo is unlimited. Undo/redo is not limited to actions made within the Storyboard window itself. For example, if you update a storyclip in the Monitor window, you can undo the Update command and return to the original parameters of the storyclip. You can also use standard Windows shortcuts: Ctrl + Z (undo) and Ctrl + Y (Redo).
The Compact Button
The Compact command allows you to eliminate all the gaps in your storyboard quickly and ensures perfect sync between the In and Out points of adjacent clips.
Frame by Frame Buttons
These buttons will move the Position bar frame by frame, useful for locating an exact frame for trimming or cutting a storyclip. You can also use the right and left arrow shortcut keys (be sure the Storyboard window is the currently active window).
Cueing Buttons
The cueing buttons will move the Position bar from cut point to cut point. You can also use the + and - shortcut keys (be sure the Storyboard window is the currently active window).
SB/Clip Buttons
These buttons let you toggle the timecode information being shown in the Storyboard window timecode fields. When the SB button is activated, then timecode relevant to the timeline is displayed (i.e. a selected clip's In and Out position on the storyboard). When the Clip button is activated, the clip's intrinsic timecode information is displayed.
Story Duration Field
This field displays the current total duration of the Storyboard. The duration is calculated up to the Out point of the last storyclip on the timeline.
