As soon as you open a folder, its contents are displayed in the Catalog List. The media files may be video, audio or graphic files. The type of files to be displayed depends on which options you currently have activated for viewing. To activate a file type, simply press the corresponding file type button found on the Catalog window's main toolbar. You can have any combination of file types or all three file types activated for viewing if you like.
Also located on the Catalog window's main toolbar is the Change View drop-down menu, which allows you to set or change your current viewing options. The first four options of the menu determine whether the media files will be displayed in a small or large viewing monitor (and with or without an accompanying text field). The fifth option (List) displays the files as a tabulated list.
You can also use the shortcut Change View buttons at the bottom of the Catalog List. Each one corresponds to a specific type of view (i.e. Small Icons, Large Icons, etc.).
