Selecting Storyclips and Gaps


To select a storyclip simply click on it with your mouse. The storyclip will then be highlighted in yellow.

Incite Media Assistant also allows you to select gaps in the timeline. Click anywhere over a gap to select it. Selecting gaps is useful for deleting the gap in Film mode. Once the gap is deleted, all subsequent storyclips and gaps on the timeline are shifted to the left. To eliminate all gaps quickly use the Compact button described later in this section.

To select all material on the storyboard, both storyclips and gaps, click-right on the storyboard and choose Select All from the pop-up menu.

To select a series of clips, select the first clip, press Shift and select the last storyclip in the series. All intermediary clips will also be selected.



Tips & Notes


·If the Storyclip is of small duration, you may have difficulty selecting the storyclip with your mouse. If so, press the Alt key while clicking with your mouse and the storyclip will be highlighted.  

·Double-clicking on a storyclip will select the storyclip and load it into the Monitor window for updating. For more see Loading and Updating a Storyclip.
