Refreshing Text Fields


RTF text entries can be made in either the Preview/Logger RTF field or in the text fields provided for each media file in the Catalog List (when either the Large Text or Small Text viewing option is activated). Changes made in one area of the Catalog window will not result in the other until the text field has been refreshed or the file/folder has been reloaded.

To refresh a text field (either in the Preview/Logger area or in the Catalog List), select it with your mouse and then press the Refresh Text Field button located on the Text Format toolbar. The text field is automatically updated.

To refresh all text fields quickly, press the Reload Folder button (or F5 shortcut key). The entire media file folder is then refreshed so any changes made to the RTF files will be shown.

Tips & Notes

·If you edit a text field in the Catalog List while that specific media file is currently loaded in the Preview/Logger monitor, you can refresh the RTF field using the Refresh Text button or else reloading the media file into the Preview/Logger.
