General Procedure

One of Incite Media Assistant's useful media management utilities is its ability to print out the contents of a specific media file folder or the results of a search query, letting you specify what information (List View columns) will be included in the print out.

To begin a print out, press the Print button located in the upper left-hand corner of the Catalog window. Pressing this button, the Print Preview window is opened and the Catalog List area is automatically displayed in "List view".

The Print Preview window essentially shows you what the results of the print out will be in relation to the printed page. As the Catalog List provides many re-sizable columns, most likely you will want to adjust the order of these columns, optimize their size and remove irrelevant or non-essential columns.

To do this you will need to work with "list view" in the Catalog List area. With the Print Preview window open, you can interact with the Catalog List area, making changes and checking the results quickly using the Refresh button in the Print Preview window:

1.To change column order, click on the column heading (i.e. Tape IN) and drag it to its new position.
2.To sort the list, click on the heading you wish to sort by. Each time you click on a column heading, the list is sorted (toggling between ascending and descending order).
3.To resize columns, place the mouse over the right edge of the column heading you wish to modify. The mouse cursor becomes a directional cursor. Click and drag the border to the left to reduce the column size, to the right to increase column size.
4.To completely remove a column, open the Catalog Display Preferences window and deactivate the check box or boxes of the columns you wish to hide from view under List View Columns.

Tips & Notes

·Note: Under the Printer Setup window, you can choose Portrait or Landscape orientation. Use the landscape option when you need to print a large number of columns.
