Updating vs. Inserting Storyclips

The Logger monitor can also be used to create new storyclips. There are two distinct ways this can be done:

1. Rather than update the selected storyclip you can create a new storyclip by pressing the Insert button. After logging new In and Out points for the clip (if necessary), select the timeline

2. The second way to create a new storyclip is by double clicking on a media file that has been loaded into the Preview/logger monitor. Although you could easily insert the new storyclip from the Preview/logger monitor itself, loading the media file into the Monitor window allows you to set log points and playback/preview your storyboard sequence more comfortably.

Tips & Notes

·If the Preview/logger monitor is hidden from view (moving the splitter), double clicking on a media file in the Catalog List will send the file to the Monitor window.
