List View


Using List view, media files are arranged in the Catalog List as text entries only. The list is divided into columns and each column is given a heading (for example: Name, Tape IN, Tape OUT, etc.). You can sort the list by clicking on a specific heading (i.e. you can sort by In timecode or by tape name). You can re-arrange the order of columns by clicking on a heading and dragging it to a new location. Columns can also be resized by clicking and dragging the border of the column's heading.

Tips & Notes

·Under Catalog Display Preferences you can select which column headings will be displayed.

·For fast browsing, activate List View Only under Catalog Display Preferences. With this option selected, the time it takes to open a folder is greatly reduced, as Incite Media Assistant does not need to open the AVI thumbnails for each file. List view automatically displays all media files in the selected directory. Page Settings have no effect when using List view.
