Importing an IML file into an Incite storyboard layer

Whereas the Drag Storyboard icon is convenient when Incite and Incite Media Assistant are on the same computer, exporting (saving) an IML file is the fundamental way to exchange IML files between stations.

1.	Open the clip collection in which you wish the new clips to be created.
2.	In Incite, select a storyboard layer and right-click on its Indicator. (If necessary, be sure to activate the appropriate number of audio tracks).
3.	Place the Position bar over the initial frame to be used for insertion.
4.	Right click on the Layer Name indicator and select Import/Incite Media Assistant from the pop-up menu.
5.	Browse for the directory containing the IML file (previously created in Incite Media Assistant) you wish to import using Incite Media Assistant Import dialog box. Click on the file and press Open.
6.	An Import dialog box appears. Use this dialog box to select the directory for the new media files (if required). You can also choose to have the clips inserted as storyclips into the Incite storyboard using the Insert Clips into Storyboard check box, or else create clips only. The clips are placed in the currently open clip collection.
