1. | The Paste command is good for one action only (i.e. one paste).

2. | If you cut a clip it will not be deleted until you have pasted it to another folder.

3. | You cannot copy a clip and then paste it to the same folder.
|

4. | You cannot cut or delete a clip currently being used by Incite Media Assistant (i.e. in a storyboard). If you try to do so, Incite Media Assistant will warn you with a message.

5. | When cutting and deleting a media file, all linked and related files are cut or deleted as well (for example A1, A2, RTF). For TCI files you can choose whether they will or will not be cut/deleted automatically using the Delete TCI Files option in the Catalog Display Preferences window (see Appendix: Incite Media Assistant Preferences).

6. | When copying and pasting a media file, all related files undergo the same operation.
|
|
7. | Obviously, if you are working with files located on the server or another network station, you will need proper permission for cut and delete.
|

8. | To cut, copy and paste a specific group of media files, press Ctrl and select each clip you wish to include in the group. To select all files in a directory quickly, right click on a media file and choose Select All from the pop-up menu.
