| 1. | Open the AVI, QT or RM Converter window if you wish to change the current video and audio conversion settings or override the settings used by default.

| 2. | Select the file or files you wish to convert. Remember that Incite Media Assistant will batch convert all selected media files.You can also import IML files for automatic conversion (for more see 3.13 Converting IML Files).

| 3. | Right click on one of the selected clips and choose Convert Selected to AVI, Convert Selected to QT or Convert Selected to RM.

| 4. | Incite Media Assistant begins conversion.
|

| 5. | Looking under the Main tab option of the Converter window, you can check the progress or stop the conversion of the current media file.
|
|
| 6. | Under the Task List tab, you will find the complete list of files waiting to be converted. You can clear the list or remove items if you wish to stop conversion for a particular file or files. If you wish to add more media files to the list, even during conversion, you can do so by selecting them (from the same or different folder) and running the Convert Selected command once again.

| 7. | Under Details you will find a report on operations that have been completed as well as details regarding the current operation.
