3.7 The Converter Window: The Details Tab

The Details tab gives a brief report or summary regarding the conversion process for any given media file. The report begins as soon as the conversion process for a particular file is initiated.

   

The report states that a specific conversion was begun (Started) and is usually followed by a confirmation that the conversion has been Completed. If completed successfully, you will also be told how long the conversion took (Conversion Time).

If the conversion was not completed, you will be told that the conversion process was Aborted. If the conversion was aborted due to an Error, the cause of the error will be both summarized and an error code provided.


Tips & Notes

·	Not all aborted files are due to errors. Pressing Stop or removing a task during conversion will cause the process to abort.
