1.3 The Monitor Window

The Monitor window is primarily an editing/viewing tool for the Storyboard window. Once media files have been logged and inserted to the storyboard as storyclips, you can playback the sequence using the preview monitor (monitor on the right). If you wish to edit a storyclip, double-click the storyclip and it is loaded into the logging monitor (monitor on the left) for modification and eventual updating.

   


Use the Monitor window for:

·	Previewing your storyboard sequence
·	Editing and updating storyclips from an Incite Media Assistant storyboard.
·	As a dual-screen trim editor for two adjacent storyboard clips. For more see Trimming In/Out Points with your Mouse in Ch.5.
