Incite Media Assistant and Dual Processor Systems

Incite Media Assistant is designed to run on dual processors. However, on some systems Incite Media Assistant may freeze or block. If this is the case you must change the "Affinity" for Incite Media Assistant, disabling its use of one of the processors. To do this:

1.With Incite Media Assistant open, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to open "Windows NT Task Manager".

2.Select the "Processes" tab.

3.Click on "Mem Usage".

4.Under Image Name, right click on InciteAssistant and select "Set Affinity" from the pop-up menu.

5.The "Processor Affinity" window opens.

6.Deactivate one of the two Processor CPU 0 or CPU 1 and press OK.

7.Close the Task Manager. For now on, whenever you start Incite Media Assistant, only one processor will be used.

Tips & Notes

·Following this procedure you are changing the affinity of Incite Media Assistant only, all other programs (designed to do so) will continue to use dual-processors.
